@katierainee: I wish whoever set up these farmers markets cared a little bit about who they let come set up a stand 🙃 genuinely wondering who wants or looks for 3D printed toys anywhere!!! #farmersmarket #SmallBusiness #farmers #junk #wasteoftime

Tell your farmers market manager what you want and don’t want - please keep going and supporting the actual few producers and bakers and other food businesses who are vending

We don’t go anymore either. They are not farmers markets anymore. They are vendor markets. T shirts, candles, etc. No thank you.

even the vegetables you see there are bought from a terminal where the grocery stores by the same product. some Farmers have locally grown products but they are very scarce to find.

its almost as if FARM is in the name. I went to one a few weeks ago with over 20 vendors. TWO were farms/cottage bakers

I’m 100% with you. My son gravitates to the 3D printed toys. It’s just plastic that breaks in 5 minutes

I want a CASE of tomatoes or green beans or whatever…. NOT a boutique basket with 3 tomatoes priced like the Gordon Ramsay himself is buying them. Also, I don’t want a bunch of stands that just go buy it somewhere else and resell it to me for double the price. And for the love of God please don’t sell me refrigerator tomatoes as “garden fresh”.

We went to our small town market. I’ve missed it all season and was so excited to go. There was maybe one stand with veggies, the rest was plastic junk, crap with a cricket labeling slapped on it, and AI signage.

I also find that a lot of people at our local farmer market are selling produce they have bought that looks like it come from the grocery store. In these big brown boxes like the grocery store gets their produce with a picture of the product on the side and everything. When I want to buy produce at a farmers market I want produce you grew in your back yard. You can tell the difference in the taste.

I loooooveeee my local farmers market! Theres at least 5-6 local produce stands a couple bakery ones, flowers, pumpkins in the fall, a few selling locally raised meats, homemade soaps and kinds of bath products, hand carved things, a local coffee shop. Theres maybe two with the cheap trinket stuff that I skip over but other than that I basically buy my groceries there all the way from May-October
