@realhiphopinc: Sam Sneed ft. Dr. Dre – U Better Recognize. 1994 Sam Sneed was one of the lesser known figures behind the sound of 90s West Coast hip hop. A rapper, producer, and songwriter, he became closely associated with Death Row Records and worked alongside Dr. Dre during the label's influential era. His production style featured heavy drums, dark melodies, and cinematic textures. Sneed also co-produced records including “Natural Born Killaz” and Dr. Dre's “Keep Their Heads Ringin'.” “U Better Recognize” showcased Sneed as both an artist and producer, with Dr. Dre joining him on the track. It was released through the Murder Was the Case soundtrack era and became Sneed's signature solo record. His planned Street Scholars project remained unreleased for years, another example of how much of Sneed's work stayed outside the mainstream spotlight. #SamSneed #DrDre #UBetterRecognize #90sHipHop #RealHipHop
