weird story BUT i ended up in a backyard wrestling community that ended up having our own cable access show…. we did tiny stupid tour shows….. hilarious. BUTTTTTT it changed my whole life!! fighting- even play fighting- learning i could take a hit [from someone other than my mom] and throw a punch, knowing how i react when it gets physical- it was INCREDIBLE. not to mention, the BONDS we made. something in the physical aspect of tossing each other around the ring/off roofs etc. PLUS all the time spent and creativity of making up stories and choreographing matches AND the shared labour of building/maintaining the ring, advertising shows and cleaning up… it was a formative time. and i have been MUCH MORE confident and capable since. plus now i have 3 kids so i will literally tear you apart with my hands and eat your throat if you fuck with my family 😇💜✊🏻

Omg I’m also the size of most men and played rugby in college. For this reason, the only time I’ve ever felt truly afraid of men was in Iceland and Norway. I was like “oh wow is this how women who are much smaller than men feel all the time?” And then there’s this constant pressure women feel to be as small as possible. We need to get big and strong.
