the whole east side is a flooded wetland, just follow the creek channel going through it. there are so many fun things in that lake and all the rest of lake country. look at the sunken scooner behind the island on the NE side or all the sunken road beds, weed cutter, old trucks, trash piles, farm equipment, boats, odd rock structures, etc. The ice packing days of Pewaukee and first outboard ever ran on Okauchee and Pewaukee by Evinrude.
