It's all be done because of safety, the terminal is to close to the runway, they asked hundreds what you want, and they built it as requested, you'll still board the planes up the walkway to your plane. But the new terminal will be safe, and now meet earthquake standards and ADA requirements.

I much prefer to walk to the tarmac and climb the stairs to board the jetliner as opposed to the tunnel jet bridge.

This is my local Valley airport. Love it! LAX is a nightmare…my hubby’s vintage Super Constellation once landed there! Airports like this are pure gold…

My buddies and I would ride our bikes there when we were kids and watch the planes takeoff and land. Great memories.
