some are good, some really aren’t. do ur research and use discernment! there are some ministries who really are aligned with scripture and want to build community. but there are ALSO groups who really are wolves in sheep’s clothing and care about numbers and control.

It’s true. Please be careful with groups like ICC, ICOC, RCW, Fellowship/Journey OC. They may approach you looking like regular college students with backpacks, start by being really friendly, and invite you to hang out or study the Bible. From my experience, the pressure can increase once you’re involved. If you try to leave or disagree, you may be told you’re going to hell or that their church is the only “true church.” They may also pressure you to mainly associate with members of the group and insist that you need to be baptized through them. Please do your research before getting involved.
