I honestly loved Dylan as a protagonist, instead of seeing the cold possessed killer from the original were seeing and awkward and stunted person and you can really tell that he hasn’t had many experiences outside the FBC

Love the game. Only complain is that you need to unlock reach other wise you have to go around the stupid tall wall blockades. And not a fan of Zoe, she’s kinda annoying

Dylan comes off as a one note character partially cuz coming off of the first control there wasn't a lot built up for him so all you really get is an understandably turbo traumatized 34 year old, and that's kind of the core focus of him as a character for most of the game but it isn't like he isn't even well characterized with that characteristic, there is a bunch of points in the story in which it is elaborated just how horrible of a Time he spent with the FBC, but you are kind of able to direct him in one of several ways with dialogue options on whether or not he holds more resentment for the organization or understands their mission and it's importance
