@remoteree: Instinct is an AI agent you text. It books travel and restaurants, pays bills, cancels subscriptions, orders groceries, and it recently added a concierge feature that makes phone calls. It uses its own phone number and computer to do it. On 28 September it announced a $1B Series C from Sequoia, Benchmark and Coatue at a $10B valuation. Its previous round was in August: $350M at $2.5B. That is four times the valuation in about five weeks. What the announcement and the coverage don't include: → A revenue figure → User numbers → Growth metrics It launched invite-only in August and there is no mobile app yet. The founder is Noah Shinn, and his line is that Instinct is meant to be "the best personal agent that can handle the deeply personal nuances of everyday life." So the public record has the valuation and the product description, and nothing about how many people use it or pay for it. Personal agents that act on your behalf are clearly where the money is going. How much of it is demand is the part nobody has published. #AIAgents #VentureCapital #Startups #VoiceAI #TechNews
