@the_30_rule: Restaurant loyalty gets built in the moments your team might consider routine. I go to In-N-Out even when I don’t feel like eating In-N-Out. Because I know what I’m going to get. Someone pleasant taking my order. Someone pleasant handing it to me. Someone pleasant when I ask for extra sauce. That consistency has earned my trust. When I’m hungry and short on time, knowing I’ll have a good interaction makes the decision easier. Think about what your guests expect when they walk into your restaurant. Do they feel comfortable asking a question? Can they request something extra without feeling like they’ve become a problem? Or are they preparing themselves for an eye roll? Hospitality lives in those moments. Ask your team where guests hesitate to ask for help. What could you do to make that interaction easier or more personal? Try something. Pay attention to the response. Keep practicing the behaviors that help people feel welcome. Every ordinary interaction is another opportunity to give someone confidence in the next visit. Become the place they trust when they’re deciding where to go. #RestaurantLeadership #HospitalityTraining #GuestLoyalty #GuestExperience #InNOut
In-n-out does seem to nail the pleasant employee thing without crossing over into creepy like Chickfila

The service is always good at in and chick filet. Chipotle service is pretty good too. I would say that I’ve never had bad service there either.

Why people chose Chik-Fil-A. It's so mid, but customer service is top notch.

In-N-Out Chick-fil-A they hot chicken raising Cane’s. These places aren’t afraid to have people wait. They don’t put speed in front of quality and service.

The problem with in and out is two things. 1. The French fries are just horrible 2. They are just so slow. The burger is worth the wait most of the time

With the top fast food restaurants do that the bottom feeders don’t do the old school fast food restaurants. The new ones aren’t afraid to have customers weight quality product.
