@laurgentdogs: Replying to @Laurgentdogs No one came for Niko. He dies at 8 am on Thursday 10/1 unless a foster or adopter is found and a rescue commits by email tonight. 🚨 PLEASE SHARE. TAG RESCUES. PLEDGE. HELP GET NIKO OUT ALIVE. 🚨 Niko #A2290650 is only 2 years old. This adorable red Pittie boy was surrendered on 8/21 in terrible condition, with multiple wounds on his body and a limp. No one knows what he survived before arriving at North Central Shelter, but volunteers say he is affectionate, playful, playful with other dogs, and still full of love. He loves toys, fetch, and being close to people. He proudly brings the ball back, knows “sit,” rolls onto his back for pets, and has been social and playful with other dogs. He is not just another shelter dog. He is a baby who still wants to live. Niko was given an “adventure day” outside the shelter and had the best time. He fell asleep in the car on the way back, but startled awake when someone reached to pet him and reacted with a nip. One frightened moment after a beautiful day out has now put him on the list to die. He has been moved to the back, hidden from public view, and labeled rescue only. Niko needs a patient, experienced foster or adopter, and a rescue willing to email for him tonight. He deserves the chance to decompress, feel safe, and finally know what it means to be loved. He does not deserve to die alone in a shelter at 2 years old. Please do not scroll past him. Please do not assume someone else will help. His life depends on someone seeing this tonight. #Deadline: 8 am on Thursday 10/1 📍 Niko #A2290650 at North Central Shelter 3201 Lacy Street, Los Angeles, CA 90031 888-452-7381 Shelter link: https://www.laanimalservices.com/pet/A2290650 RESCUES: Please email immediately if you can save Niko: [email protected][email protected][email protected][email protected]
