This is the real reason we need a livable wage/substantially higher minimum wage. Hourly workers do not have this option and if they do they have to decide if it’s worth compromising their pay check. Happy you get a work life balance but insane how many people actually think jobs you can leave early from every Friday is somehow worth more than the custodial staff working in their offices. I know it’s not the point but it makes corporate employees very hard to take seriously.
