I wash mine in an intense cold cycle with wool detergent- hang flat to dry and they’re all perf.

girls, one extra step when washing: after you rinse out detergent water from the sweater, fill the tub again with cold water, dilute there a bit of your best hair mask and rinse your sweater in this conditioning liquid. Natural fibers are basically hair, so they respond to the conditioner almost the same as our hair 🤍

I have at least 12 sweaters pure cashmere. I can’t hand wash, I put on wool programme where it dryers 400 cycles max. Later I dry it on a rack. And it’s true, I wash them only cause I feel I have to, otherwise they never stink 🤷🏻♀️

If you drop any liquid onto cashmere, don’t pat it to try dry it, just shake it off!! Cashmere is a little water resistant, I dropped cherry juice onto my cream sweater…it beaded right off. And this is the BEST wool wash with lanolin and eucalyptus, and you don’t need to rinse it out, and it repels moths. When you wash cashmere, wash your item inside out, do NOT scrunch too much, and roll in a towel to remove most the water. You can dry it flat on a rack with a plush towel covering the rails so it dries with airflow from beneath without gravity stretching! ◡̈

Disagree with the hand washing. If you have a high end wash machine, the gentle wool program on tap cold, sweater inside out in a large net will have less friction on the fabric. Everything else I completely agree with

You fail to mention a specific detergent. You can’t just use any. The fabric is made of natural protein fibers like our hair. Regular detergent strips away the oils it holds.
