I once knew a man who wanted to propose to his girlfriend at the top of a mountain after a very long sweaty hike. We told him not to. She told him she didn't even want to do that hike. He was still set on the hike. Y'all, learn this lesson. A proposal she doesn't like is not something to bully her about. If you love her, you should propose in the way she would prefer to receive said proposal.

This is the worst 😭 it definitely gives the vibes of them not having actually discussed marriage yet. The fact a proposal is coming shouldn’t be a surprise, you should talk about it and be sure that that is the next step, the place and time the proposal happens is the surprise 😭
