Normal? No. Common? Yes. This is a widespread issue that should not just be accepted and normalized. I had savings at 24 and enough to put 20% down on a house at 27. But I’m 32 now and a lot has changed economically in the last few years. It’s not sustainable.

whoever says its not normal is extremely privileged. In this economy and the struggles to find a good decent job hiring, having no savings is so understandable. I've been working full time for 4 years now and I'm in over 30K worth of debt living paycheck to paycheck with abolutely nothing saved up. I JUST got a good job with allowed overtime. I feel your pain girl 😔
