This is one of the most fun and also most annoying tricks. You can also blink them if you have an instant speed blink mechanic, then you don't lose them at all.

I learned you could do this then specifically built shilgengar around the idea, I assign my angels as blockers then sac them before damage resolves for the blood tokens.
