For a Mexican woman, cooking for your man is basic…it’s just a given, lol. It’s part of showing your love.

You’re flexing. A real man doesn’t ask a woman what she brings to the table. That’s part of the problem with dating today. I’m born and raised in L.A., and this whole “high-value” mentality is part of the issue. Dating shouldn’t be transactional. How about meeting organically, being present, and allowing men to lead and women to embrace their roles? Both men and women have lost sight of what genuine connection looks like.

I work 40 hour work weeks, maybe I don’t make as much but my time is still valuable and limited on this earth. If you say your time is 10x more valuable than mine then I feel like you should be 10x less expecting of what women bring to the tables.

So you are providing a life style for women that essentially will elevate their life. What about women that already provide this lifestyle to themselves?

European here-I moved to Newport Beach over two years I don’t know what it is but it’s extremely low vibration here in US. I thought it’s easier to date in US but it’s a nightmare for both- women and men.

I fully agree with you 💯 I always say to myself im not bringing anything to the table , I am the table , being the table does not mean financially and gifts . few women get this message wrong and go on the defensive mode..it's time we listen to the opposite gender and treat them the way we want to be treated...

Oh I wish we could go back to the old times. I like old school dating. Simple, honest, and writing your number on a napkin.

Finding someone with commonality is rare. So much easier when you meet someone who has similar values and morals as you do.

I can definitely agree with you regarding a woman also taking care of a man and cooking dinner. Unfortunately men like you are usually looking for a gorgeous model type that isn’t cultured, educated just pretty to look it. Most women of substance aren’t model types but they aren’t even looked at. Now I’m not saying you’re like that but you know very well most rich older men are. I lived in LA and dated and looked for men who were interesting and world traveled. Men who had interesting lives that I can listen to and learn from. But all they cared about were my looks. The fact is there aren’t many people of substance anymore.

Cooking at his place on first date, absolutely not, you have to go on few dates before do something like that. Be honest, I would only cook for men when I know for sure he wants to date me exclusively. Cooking on the first date it is like for you ordering Uber for her, so much investment for someone you don’t know yet, [Big LOL]

Agreed with everything you’re saying, but here is a genuine question. What is the best way to approach the first date when I’ve had major trauma with being assaulted. Should I suggest meeting at the restaurant?

I think the abundance of dating sites has made many men and women addicted to constantly searching for something better — always wondering whether the grass is greener on the other side. As a result, they struggle to appreciate what they already have: someone caring, loving, nurturing, and genuinely invested in them. In the back of their minds, there’s always that nagging thought: “But what if there’s someone better out there?” And so, instead of building something meaningful with the person in front of them, they keep searching for an ideal that may not even exist.
