@heartxsoulx: I think we spend a lot of our lives trying to hold on. To people. To old memories. To conversations we wish had gone differently. To places that once felt like home. To versions of ourselves that we quietly miss. And sometimes we don't let go because we don't care anymore. We let go because we finally understand that holding on is hurting more than losing ever did. Maybe that's what growing older really teaches you. Not how to stop loving people, but how to love them without needing them to stay. How to remember something without wishing you could live it again. How to walk away without turning the whole thing into hate. Some people were meant to stay for years. Some for a season. Some only long enough to leave a lesson behind. And honestly, I think that's okay. You don't have to make everything that ended meaningless just because it ended. Some things were beautiful while they lasted. Some people changed you. Some memories will always have a little piece of your heart. And you can still let them go. Maybe that's the hardest kind of peace. Knowing that something mattered deeply to you, and still being able to say, “I wish you well,” and keep walking. Not because you stopped caring. Because you finally started caring about yourself too. #HeartxSoul #LettingGo #LifeThoughts #Healing #Peace
