I hate that for us but you can always count on women to straighten your crown when your head is tilted. I really hope JANE DOE knows we are fighting for her and we won’t let her story be in vain. My prosecutor was like her. I was one of the lucky ones and I did send him to prison. And I sent him there for the rest of his life because I got lucky and had a female judge my healing began when I walked out of the school afraid my mom was gonna be upset with me because I just told my teachers her husband did those things to me and instead I was met with hugs tears and apologies for what “she let me go through” it wasn’t her fault and it wasn’t mine. He was a monster who took advantage of good people. Kate (my prosecutor) was there with us every step of the way and we still see each other. I’m sorry to anyone who went through that ugly process and didn’t get the justice they deserved.
