Why do people who chose to have kids think that those who chose not to have kids or don't have kids yet should have to drop everything and help them? I'm not saying you shouldn't be kind and help out when you can but the person that's not married or doesn't have kids shouldn't be expected to put their life on hold for everyone else all of the time.

The disrespect that child-free people always get is absolutely absurd! Our time is just as valuable, and it's not our responsibility to help anyone else just because they need it, especially if we have plans. Like someone else said, if we can help, great, but why are we expected to bend over backwards for them just because we made different life choices. 🙄😤😒 ugh it makes me so mad

I had a manager in my face screaming that she’d remove my time off if I didn’t cover after she heard me say it wasn’t possible to cover a double shift off another person, I’d just finished a double and was scheduled for a double the day before the shift she wanted covered and I was exhausted already, then the manager went off even more when I screamed back as loudly as her “I quit,” she told me I couldn’t because I had to give a months notice… oh heck no. She had it in for me anyways but the veins on her forehead were definitely going to pop

ew, no. I do have kids, and I would never *expect* my child free coworkers to sacrifice for my kids. I remember being the one who didn't have kids and got shafted on holidays and weekends. im not doing that to other people.
