I’m in Alabama and I sometimes feel like people don’t understand what poverty looks like in the Deep South. If you don’t have access to a car, you’re not going to have access to fresh produce or any fresh foods for that matter and you’re stuck with what’s around, which is usually a Dollar General or Family Dollar for groceries. Calling out a company like that is absolutely necessary, because the communities they serve can’t simply go shop elsewhere.

As someone who was a manger at one of their distribution centers in California from 2018 to feb 2020 I can 100% say the rat poop , rat infestation all of the above are true . I would generally be scared walking threw the building because rats would be running around , they would even let stray cats in the building to try and get the rats because it was to much for pest control I can show you pictures of how unsanitary their building is for legal purposes this is my personal opinion only

People don’t like the truth thank you for speaking on the truth because I’ve been shopping at Dollar tree literally my entire life, but knowing this I would not want to jeopardize myself or my family or anyone. This is truly disturbing and such a crazy health concern. corporations do not care about us. People need to wake up and smell the coffee again thank you for all your honesty. There’s so much injustice in this world you are beautiful inside and out thank you.

My son had lead poisoning due to those applesauce packets. We went through months of fear, not knowing where the lead poisoning could have come from and we finally were able to narrow it down to the dollar tree applesauce packets and possibly dollar tree toys. Thankfully, he's fine now. it's been a couple years and we found the issue and eliminated it.

To be honest my husband and I did Industrial maintenance for a couple years and we serviced Walmarts, Walgreens, Family Dollar and dollar tree. Every single one has a rat problem!!! I’m not kidding, that was our number one call… pest control. EVERY SINGLE ONE

I WAS an independent merchandiser contractor and I mainly serviced Dollar Trees, Family Dollars and Dollar Generals. The amount of rat infestations I would find in the stores, the merchandise I would receive from the warehouses would be soaked in rat urine/feces and the way the corporate offices would just brush it off was horrendous!! I would call the health department so many times a week that they just stopped taking my calls and I just quit the job because I couldnt risk my health. They literally wanted me to put this stuff on the shelves soaked in urine and feces. I tell people constantly to wash EVERYTHING that they buy from thiae stores and bring hand sanitizer when shopping there!!!

I think if we actually investigate all retail chains and warehouses we will find a whole lot of this. I am a truck driver and I have been for a number of years. I’ve backed into a lot of retail places and warehouses. I have seen some stuff. It doesn’t matter if it’s high end or dollar tree warehouses. They all have these issues.
