A few October dates worth knowing 👇 🥐 4 October: Kanelbullens dag We celebrate our beloved cinnamon bun across the whole country. ✨ 2 October–1 November: Lights in Alingsås Just a short train ride from Gothenburg, Alingsås lights up after dark with installations throughout the town. 🏅 5–12 October: Nobel Prize week Stockholm turns its attention to this year’s Nobel Prizes, with talks, exhibitions and some pretty big ideas. 🎷 9–18 October: Stockholm Jazz Festival Ten days of music on stages across the capital. 🎃 Late October: Halloween at places like Skansen, Liseberg and Kolmården Pumpkins, haunted houses and just the right amount of spooky. 🕯️ 31 October: Alla helgons dag Then things get quieter. Cemeteries across Sweden glow with thousands of candles as people remember loved ones who have passed away. ♨️ And when it gets cold Sauna, cold dip, sauna again. It simply has to be done.
