I worked night shift this week and was covering for a co-worker who was on break on a locked down dementia unit. I was at the nurses’ station watching the cameras around 3am when I saw a man in a blue shirt walk briskly around a corner. Went to do a walk through of the unit and there was no one there. I assumed that whoever it was must have returned to their room. My co-worker got back from break and I told him what happened and he informed me that everyone on that unit is 100% wheelchair dependent. 😱😱
