Those values are wildly inaccurate. But I’m curious if you bought it for 460 why were you trying so hard to sell for 600 2 years later? Did you do any improvements?

So we adults think we can buy houses & then quit jobs without another job plan? That is insanity. I was a single mom of 4 small children at one point. You don't think I was "burnt out"?? 🤣 But we needed a roof over our heads & food. You don't get to just quit life without a plan. Goodness 🤦🏻♀️

So you expected your house to sell for more than you bought it for two years later? Did you put equity into the home?

For a lot of people don't realize when you buy a house maintenance it, you take care of it, but you never own it. And and that's effect, you pay taxes. But once you stop paying taxes, then you lose the house, so you don't own it

Should have gotten roommates to be able to pay the mortgage while you look for another job. Most people do this in nyc

Before quitting the job... I personally would have put the house on Airbnb and VRBO. You could have downsized and moved into one of the rooms in the home and rented the others. Then while renting you could of possibly located a different job within 3-5 months.

Anything after July 2020 was inflated. I live in a subdivision with about 10 floor plans and a couple hundred houses. The house next door to me sold in April of 2020 for 310k in August 2020 the one across same floor plan and minimal differences it sold for 399k now this model is being listed above 500k plus with no major renovations. A fair price for these house would be 375-400k people bought inflated because rates were so low they could pay more for the house and still make the payments work. To be honest rates never should have gotten into the 2-3% 5 seems to be the sweet spot to keep prices in line and payments payable

No one will ever own anything . it's an illusion . people are slaves to a job to.pay on something they will never own .

Girl, the whole video I was terrified for you. Are you walking around, in public, after dark and not paying attention to your surroundings?

Realtor here: If it just sold at Sherrif’s Sales you still have 6 months to live in the house and still sell it. It’s called statutory redemption.
