That's not kneeling. Thats just lowering ourselves to the eye level so it doesn't look authoritative or kind of looking down onto them. Also to make contact to show sincerity.

It's a common small matter, accept the apology return a smile, if a third person intervenes, more argue or even fight, that may interrupt the flight schedule. 😁😁

I was in business class and got bumped when I stretched my arm too far out. the stewardess apologised and that was the end of it. the bones in my arm did not break becos of that bump. there isn't a need to make it ugly....

If nothing serious just let it go. The air stewardess is also human, will make minor mistakes at times. Just felt certain passengers just want to make a fuss out of it and demand compensation. Perhaps the passenger want to complain till she has a free ticket for her next trip.😆
