Other African countries would like to believe South Africa has the worst school system even though we are ranked 3rd most literate in Africa.

The terms depend on government schooling or private schooling…. My primary school was government so had 4 terms and my high school was fully private and had 3 terms (ps we had longer week holidays plus mid term breaks😁)

The great thing about our holidays is that they are interrupted; you don’t have 3 months off school for example; being off school for that long; uninterrupted, has a negative impact on a child’s brain

America have on average 180 days of school per year... South africa 200 days per year... so we have more days at school a year... I don't get your point
