‎Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis Distributes Food Items to Constituents ‎ ‎The Member representing Maiduguri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis, has distributed food items to vulnerable households across communities within the constituency as part of his continued commitment to supporting the welfare of his constituents. ‎ ‎The distribution exercise, which covered communities across the nook and crannies of Maiduguri Federal Constituency, was aimed at providing immediate food support to families and vulnerable residents facing economic challenges. ‎ ‎Each beneficiary received 25kg of rice, one carton of spaghetti and five litres of vegetable oil, providing households with essential food items to support their families. ‎ ‎The exercise was conducted in a peaceful and orderly atmosphere, with beneficiaries expressing joy and appreciation for the gesture. Residents who participated in the distribution described the intervention as timely, particularly at a period when many households are grappling with the rising cost of food and other essential commodities. ‎ ‎Speaking on the initiative, supporters and beneficiaries commended Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis for what they described as his compassion, generosity and continued concern for the wellbeing of the people he represents. ‎ ‎They noted that the food distribution was not only about providing immediate relief but also demonstrated the importance of responsive representation and maintaining a strong connection between elected representatives and their constituents. ‎ ‎Some beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture and prayed for continued success, good health and wisdom for the lawmaker, while urging him to sustain programmes that directly impact ordinary families across Maiduguri Federal Constituency. ‎ ‎The distribution further underscores Rt. Hon. Rahis' emphasis on constituency engagement and grassroots support, particularly through interventions designed to respond to the immediate needs of vulnerable members of the community. ‎ ‎For many beneficiary households, the food items are expected to provide meaningful relief and help ease some of the pressure associated with meeting daily household food requirements. ‎The initiative also highlights the role of constituency representatives in complementing broader efforts to improve the welfare of citizens, especially through community-based interventions that reach people at the grassroots. ‎
