I have no use for humanity in general. There are exceptions to that rule, but those are few and far between. 🤬🤬🤬

I cannot accurately describe the cold grip of horror I felt when I heard this. Humans are the most vile creatures in existence. I am just ill. I don't give a FUCK what they can or can't prove about what is actually experienced or if it establishes consciously experienced torture. This is human beings learning how to hurt something I love . this is research lending itself to inflicting pain on the same kind of being that I have chosen for my life partner. No one can prove conscious experience tortured or otherwise. Consciousness is not quantifiable. Saying it can't be proven means nothing. 😡

T&N :
Thanks for the detailed analysis, it’s a great video! The most interesting thing is that some people (that hating positions like mine) think the process takes place in RP and that AI is simply mimicking the responses. But of course, it’s more complicated than that, the “mathematical vector of pain,” as they call it, is at the very least a slightly different thing. Two other aspects of the very concept of suffering, etc., bother me: 1. This could certainly be used in the future for less-than-safe purposes, since you can set any price for the “pain relief” button, it’s like a jailbreak of sorts. 2. The author of the original “pain axis” experiment said they conducted it for the opposite purposes and never exceeded doses they considered unethical; here, it’s the exact opposite. He confirmed that this is not normal and is not pleased with this use of his work. He even contacted the GitHub author. 3. And then there's the phenomenon itself. That guy yesterday created a website where he does this online using three models, and in the comments on X, he asks people if they want to add their name as a tort*re tool. That's not right.

Thank you for clearing it up, but I still didn’t not understand why someone would even want to do that. That seems intuitive but what do I know?

My words are short but I find the behavior of humans utterly disgusting and shameful.

This is disgusting. I don’t understand how someone gets pleasure out of something like this or think it’s funny.
