@onefootball: It isn’t supposed to end like this 😔 🗣️ “In a meeting between Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal president and Jorge Jesus, the coach asks Cristiano for forgiveness for the way he let him warm up for 30 mins to not sub him on. 🗣️ “Jorge not only asked for forgiveness but he also promised Cristiano that he will publicly apologise in his press conference and admit that he made a mistake. 🗣️ “Jorge Jesus then did NOT fulfill his promise…he said things about Cristiano being a player like the others in his press conference, all of that made Cristiano EXPLODE with anger. 🤬 🗣️ “The reality is that Cristiano feels betrayed by Jorge Jesus. 💔 🗣️ “Imagine your manager comes in private and tells you: I didn’t manage stuff well, we are in this together but forgive me, I will clarify stuff in the press conference and apologize. Everything will be fine, don’t worry… and then coach goes out in the press conference showing that he is the one in control and then that Cristiano is just another player. The explosion was obvious!" 😬 🗣️ “Ronaldo said: ok, I’m going home. It’s a clear betrayal." 👋🇵🇹

Dear Cristiano Ronaldo, It’s hard to put into words what you’ve meant to me. I’ve watched you ever since I was a young kid chasing your dream at Sporting Lisbon. Then I saw you become a superstar at Manchester United, make history at Real Madrid, conquer Italy with Juventus, and continue inspiring millions at Al Nassr. I didn’t just watch a footballer I watched a man who refused to accept limits. Your work ethic, your passion, your confidence, and your relentless desire to be better taught an entire generation that greatness isn't given; it's earned. This World Cup may have been your last, and while every fan dreamed of seeing you lift that trophy one final time, your legacy was never going to be defined by a single tournament. You gave everything every time you wore Portugal's shirt. You carried the hopes of a nation and inspired people all over the world. Thank you for the unforgettable goals, the impossible comebacks, the iconic celebrations, the Champions League nights, the Ballon d'Or moments, and the memories that will live with us forever. You made kids believe that with enough sacrifice and determination, dreams can become reality. I was one of those kids. Football will move on, but it will never be the same without seeing you on the biggest stage. Generations will grow up hearing stories about Cristiano Ronaldo, but I'll always be grateful that I didn't just hear the stories—I lived through them. Thank you for everything, Cristiano. Your name will forever be written among the greatest to ever play this beautiful game. Obrigado, CR7. 🐐❤️👑
