@zernoh_: It’s honestly crazy how this whole Cristiano Ronaldo saga has managed to overshadow Lionel Messi’s retirement from Argentina. Messi is closing one of the greatest chapters in football history, walking away from the Argentina national team after everything he achieved with them, including the Copa América titles and the 2022 World Cup, yet somehow the conversation online has shifted almost entirely toward Ronaldo and everything happening around him. And this is exactly why you wouldn’t be surprised that the name Ronaldo creates such a strong reaction online. Whether people love him or hate him, whether they support him or constantly criticize him, mentioning Cristiano Ronaldo almost guarantees a conversation. You can be talking about Messi’s farewell, and within minutes the comments become Ronaldo, his retirement, his legacy, his records, his personality, the GOAT debate and everything surrounding him. That’s the power of the Ronaldo name. He doesn’t even have to be the main subject for the conversation to become about him. At 41, with his career approaching its final chapter, Ronaldo is still capable of completely dominating the football timeline. Messi may be saying goodbye to Argentina, but once again, Ronaldo has somehow found himself at the centre of the conversation. Love him or hate him, you simply cannot deny how massive the Cristiano Ronaldo name has become in football. #cristianoronaldo #footballnews #messi #nationsleague #portugal

Didnt see one messi tweet after ronaldos story

georgeruiz98 :

Why hasn't Cristiano Ronaldo withdrawn from the game and given way to young players? He should withdraw from the national team. Cristiano Ronaldo has not helped the national team in any way, but has instead delayed the recruitment of new young players

AKheeli :

Been a week since he announced retirement btw guess the hype lasted that long

ssssj71 :

Manchester city and Ronaldo took it all away

I follow back :

Topics change every day

Safar :

The bad news always overshadowed the good news and atmosphere so that’s why nothing to do with Ronaldo but the human nature attracts more towards gossip and bad situations than joyful moments
