Why people call Police for incidents involving autistic children is mind blowing. Especially parents who should be educated and trained in dealing with autism. These are not Police matters and parents need to start being more responsible in being educated on how to handle autism. Police should not, just like mental health calls not the Police’s responsibility to handle, make the scene safe yes not work the incident.
