@nadhunpunchihewa: 🐇 The Hare that didn’t make it! Sometimes, you witness nature exactly as it is. In Maasai Mara, I came across this incredible sequence a Black-backed Jackal had caught an African Savanna Hare (if I’m not mistaken) The Savanna hare, (Lepus victoriae) is a remarkably fast and elusive little animal. This time, I was there at the exact moment the story took a very different turn. Just predator and prey, and the brutal reality of survival on the African plains. For the jackal, this wasn’t a trophy. It was dinner. And for me, it was one of those safari moments that reminds you that wildlife photography isn’t always about getting the perfect portrait. Sometimes, the most powerful photograph is simply a moment that tells the truth. 🇰🇪 Maasai Mara, Kenya 🐺 Black-backed Jackal 🐇 African Savanna Hare Wild Africa doesn’t need a script. 🌍 #MaasaiMara #Kenya #KenyaWildlife #AfricanWildlife #BlackBackedJackal
