@alittlecha0s: What a week!!! 🥹 Ocie started daycare this week. We’ve started with one day a week, and hopefully we’ll introduce a second day soon. Anyone who has sent their child to crèche for the first time will know what a big deal this is and how emotional it can be. But for a mum of a medically complex child, it feels like a whole different level of emotional. Since Ocie was born, I’ve been home with her full time. I’ve been the one there for the appointments, the medications, the sick days, the scary moments and everything in between. So handing over the reins, getting back in the car and driving away without her was honestly some of the worst mum guilt I’ve ever felt.
