Emily Universe :
If you think about it, Peridot is the only of the current crystal gems who became a crystal gem for the same reason Rose did. Pearl was following Rose, Garnet wanted a place where she could be herself, Amethyst literally doesn’t know anything else, Steven is trying to be what others want him to be, Bismuth wanted to be free from homeworlds tyranny. Peridot became a crystal gem because she saw the beauty in Earth, and didn’t think it deserve to be destroyed. Just like Rose

✨️Zee Bee 🇵🇭✨️ :
The fact that Steven's birthmonth is August, which makes (one of) his birthstone peridot. They were meant to be friends 😭

Wait I don’t think he meant that literally. I think Greg was comparing Steven’s innocence to rose 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

That fact that she even out right defies and insults a diamond to their face, even when obeying is the only thing she’s known, even though she has no power of her own and knows how much weaker she is, she’s so amazing and I absolutely love her character

Should’ve added roses first time trying to fuse with pearl, and Peridot’s first time trying to fuse with the Garnet

She loves how ever changing earth is. She would have been part of the original rebellion had she seen Earth’s colony sooner 🥹😭
