𝐀 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞ñ𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚 Last night, as I stood before the newly proclaimed Holy Rosary Minor Basilica and watched the magnificent projection mapping illuminate its historic façade, I felt something I had not felt in a long time an overwhelming sense of pride in being an Angeleño. Seeing the words and logo of “Experience. Live. Love. Angeles City.” projected onto one of the most important landmarks of our city was a powerful moment. It was more than a display of lights and music. It was a reminder of who we are as a people. The Holy Rosary Minor Basilica stands as a symbol of our faith, while the stories told through the projection mapping reflected our rich culture, history, and resilience. Together, they showcased the very heart and soul of Angeles City. As an Angeleño, I felt proud knowing that our city continues to honor both our spiritual heritage and our cultural identity. In a world that often changes so quickly, moments like these remind us of the values that unite us faith, community, history, and love for our city. The spectacle was breathtaking, but what touched me most was the message behind it. It showed that despite the challenges we face as individuals and as a community, we continue to move forward. We continue to rise. For one evening, the Minor Basilica became a canvas that told our story a story of faith, hope, and pride. It reminded us that being Angeleño is not just about where we live. It is about carrying a deep appreciation for our heritage, our people, and the traditions that have shaped us. As the story and lights danced across the Basilica and the music echoed through the night, I looked around and saw fellow Angeleños smiling, taking photos, and sharing the moment with their families. It was then that I realized that this was more than a show. It was a celebration of who we are. And for that, I am truly proud to be an Angeleño. - Rica Y.
