Interesting! So I just jumped right into CL LA 1st grade with my 6y old. We never did LTR. Could that be why it was too intense for her? We are now doing LifePac LA, and it seems to suit her much better. However, I did really appreciate how much information CL provided. I’m thinking of eventually switching back. Just not sure when. She’s also doing All About Reading right now. Maybe when she’s done with AAR we can try CL again? What are your thoughts?

So we started kindergarten 2 for my 5yo she just turned 6 in Sept (without using the kindergarten 1 cause I thought it would be way too easy)and I knew she would be more ahead in math but she’s almost done with kindergarten 2 but still really struggling on remembering what the letters are and the sounds, so idk if thats normal or not and whether I should just keep pushing her into learning to read? I need advice

Currently homeschooling pre-k. My daughter is 4.5 years old. We’re on the last light unit of Kindergarten 1, and will be moving into Kindergarten 2 for the remainder of pre-k. Would it be reasonable to start LTR for her actual kindergarten year?

I have Kinder 1 & 2 for my 4 yr old. I can’t wait to get started on it. We’re still going through the 4 yr old CLE Preschool workbooks. I’m still currently using the Learning to Read and LA level 1 with my 1st grader. We have loved it.

How well did your child transfer from Kindergarten 1&2 to Learning to Read. I’m using TG&TB for preschool/Kindergarden prep but I use CLE for all my other grade levels and children but I so want to switch to CLE for preschool/K. My 5 year old is barely learning letters.
