fun fact: space is actually nothingness, it's transparent, but our brains can't experience nothingness and pure invisibility so they picture it as a black void, for example a light room is full of photons, while a dark room barely had any photons, now imagine a room so dark that it doesn't even have a single photon, that's pure nothingness, your brain pictures it as darkness, but in reality it's nothingness, the only people that see actual nothingness and knows how it looks like are blind people. and just like consciousness, you can't see it, no machine can understand how "nothingness" looks like, just like no machine can know if someone is conscious or not, technically they can, but we can't always trust science, sometimes we have to trust quantum physics instead, think of it as we are in a dream or a simulation, no machine can tell it because the simulation/dream knew about it already so they patched it. The only thing we can actually detect with machines is how each person sees colors, eyes can be scanned and explained, it's just like consciousness or nothingness but it can be scanned, unlike nothingness and consciousness. there are different levels of what you can prove and what remains unknown for eternity.
