I don’t think personally the 20mph is the real problem , I’d say it’s more the fact the bus lanes have been taken away to accommodate cycle lanes which then puts all vehicles in one lane especially around my area

Stop allowing people to drive in. London who don’t need to be in it during peak times and the option to pay , just ban cars at that time . So just taxis Ubers and work vans and delivery should be only ones allowed in

Once you leave the M25, it’s a relief to get back to normality. Normal speed limits. Timed bus lanes, decent traffic light phasing, no over exaggerated cycle lanes. But then you return to London it all goes to hell. Mopeds and cyclists weaving around you, drivers scared to go faster than 17mph because they’re scared to get done, despite being no where a camera. Then you have all the uber lot on their hybrids making sure they float about on the electric without the engine kicking in, all the while waiting for a job to ping on their phones. And you can’t escape this mess because they’ve closed all the cuts off. What a disaster London roads have become.

Its also because they’ve closed off all the side roads so everyone’s using the main road and their hardcore enforcement of installing cycling lanes removing another lane for cars.
