The resonation with this is crazy! I’ve had a big energy/ mindset shift this week. Been facing my emotions regarding past relationships and realizing I can’t let that hurt dictate how I act with somebody new. Also realizing how ive acted has been from that hurt space and that I have had my walls up when I thought I was healed enough. Cleaning out and rearranging my room along with that. We are acknowledging the hurt and what doesn’t serve us anymore and moving forward to bigger and better things!!

Uhm so thanks for forcing me to confront my parent wound again. Sometimes it’s so tiring feeling that a lot of my emotional pain or even my emotional unavailability is tied to them. The lack of preparedness for relationships not just romantically but platonically as well because obviously these people (the parents) essentially set the tone for the way you relate with people for the rest of your life. The way it shows up in my love life is draining especially. Overcompensating for the things I lack, trying hard to not expose my traumas. Trying to boss up, trying to rise to the occasion when life throws things at me and always coming out ON TOP. I feel very powerless in this season and for the first time in a long time, I don’t know what to do.
