My oldest has 6 teachers. We have parents portal plus google classroom and my middle child’s teacher uses email and has a Google photo album that she shared, she doesn’t use Procare like my youngest that is also in ELC and his teacher used Procare.

As a mom, YES. As a teacher… it is so much easier. Many times kids come with $20 for something that cost $7 and then we have to find the change somewhere and get it back to the kid. You BET by the end of the day parents are messaging “my kid said you never gave change back” when I saw Johnny with 12 snacks coming out of the cafeteria after lunch. 😳 🤣

Literally. I feel like ever since Covid, we are expected to find everything online. I literally last night just wrote out my own permission slip for my kid with some cash in an envelope because doing it online wasn’t working.

I promise you, teachers are not trying to make it difficult. We live in a digital age. An online payment system makes it so much easier for the bookkeeper and for teachers instead of having to log all the payments times all these kids. Getting on the app definitely helps, I’m sure there is a link. You got this!!

My friend when her kid was in elementary school they got at least 20 emails a day for interactions + email links for all the forms she said it was a pat time job
