I’m doing all the things mentioned—but the backlash from other women, my gosh. I’m 54, I work in a corporate environment, and it’s not pleasant to hear things like, “Why do you wear makeup every day?” or “Are you sure you know how to cook? With an outfit like that, I really doubt it.” Then there’s, “You must get up at 4 am just to do your hair and makeup,” and “Is it really necessary to be so put together every single day?” But, I’ve never give up myself!!!

Absolutely true. The way I dress makes a big difference, even when I’m just out shopping. First, I feel happier because I look good and feel good — even if I don’t have a dime in the bank. 😂 Looking put together is not always about money.
