What people don't realize is that , The San Andreas Fault runs parallel to the Seal Rocks at Ocean Beach. The 1989 Loma Prieta shook the seal rocks. That seal colony moved to Pier 39 because they were scared.

I have loved the sea lions since I moved to the Bay Area at 12 years old. It is still one of the places I take people when they visit.
