During my wife’s labour, I ensured that the hospital ticked all my concerns. I asked to be provided with the TXA, bought extra pints of blood and oxygen availability. Eventually, we had our baby boy 6 months ago and this video reminded me of the journey. God bless our women

i think is better we pregnant women add this injection to our delivery package ooo…cos some hospitals just get big name ..but dey lack essential medicines..am a living testimony…a big hospital that hv no indocaine injection inside the labor ward..dey keep sending my husband to buy each injection dey needed ..i was stitched raw first time..not for the doctor to come back again that he dnt evacuate the placenta finished cos i was still bleeding then..he removed the stitches again raw and redo it again raw…i saw heaven that day…

My own experience after my C-section really opened my eyes to how serious blood loss after childbirth can be. Hours after having my baby, I was still bleeding and honestly thought it was just the normal postpartum bleeding I was supposed to have. I didn’t realize it was actually more than normal. It wasn’t until my gynecologist came the next morning and noticed that I was bleeding unusually that I understood something was wrong. I also had blood clots retained inside, which he had to remove, and I was given oxytocin to help control the bleeding. Childbirth is really not beans. 😭 You can go in expecting one thing and end up facing something completely different. I’m just grateful to God that, despite everything, we went in and came out alive.

I bought this drug myself two days before my delivery fortunately i didn’t have bleeding but a patient had 🥺 hospital doesn’t have the drug had to give out mine imagine! Whole big hospital no get the drug there were about referring her to fmc owerri when the husband came to our ward to tell the mother inlaw whats happening
