Home for the Holidays 🤎 Steal our menu! Three classic sides we make year after year: Nana’s cheese potatoes, homemade stuffing, and green bean casserole! Simple, comforting recipes that make the holidays taste like home. Save this for your Thanksgiving menu! 🦃 🤎 NANA’S CHEESE POTATOES 32 oz frozen diced potatoes 8 slices Kraft Singles 12 oz cottage cheese 1 pint half-and-half 1 stick butter Salt & pepper Place frozen potatoes in a casserole dish. Heat remaining ingredients in a pot over low heat, stirring until melted. Pour over potatoes and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. 🤎 HOMEMADE STUFFING ⅔ cup butter 2 small onions, diced 4 celery ribs, diced 1½ tsp poultry seasoning 12 cups slightly stale bread cubes 2 cups chicken broth 2 tbsp fresh parsley 1 tsp each fresh sage, thyme & rosemary Salt & pepper Melt butter in a skillet. Add onions, celery, poultry seasoning, and rosemary. Cook 10–12 minutes. Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Add the onion mixture, remaining herbs, salt, and pepper. Slowly add broth until bread is moist, but not soggy. Gently toss. Transfer to a casserole dish, cover with foil, and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes. 🤎 GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 4 (14 oz) cans green beans 8 oz fresh baby bella mushrooms, sliced ½ cup butter ½ cup diced onion 2 (10 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup ½ tsp each garlic powder, salt & pepper 6 oz crispy fried onions Cook green beans in a saucepan for about 20 minutes, then drain. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onions and mushrooms. Combine soup and seasonings in a large bowl. Stir in drained beans, sautéed vegetables, and half the crispy fried onions. Transfer to a casserole dish and bake until hot and bubbly. Top with remaining crispy onions and return to the oven until golden.
