Not a hot take but too normal, people dislike a cosplayer (for non morally horrible things that have nothing to do with their physical look) and people make fun of their looks, i have seen it and people always find out and have horrible days specially in cons/events/meetings

My lukewarm take - just because your friend/moot is getting reach and maybe even common sponsors it is horrid for you to go to their dms and “ur so lucky” or “omg i wish” like wtv sob story you have aint their business and people might say “obvious” but i know someone ts happens almost weekly
