Without an enforcement mechanism this bill is about as useful as free oil changes on your EV.

The biggest issue seems to be that no dealer will actually be held accountable and so they will just continue as normal.

Yesterday, I was told by a BMW dealership that today (Oct 1st) “federal rates are going to highly increase APRs” true or scare tactic to make me sign yesterday

omg Tomi, i was just gonna comment a rare California legislature win...and then you started explaining it🙄🙄🙄 ohhh boy. so instead of not listing the tandem stickers on the website, all dealers have to do on their website is say "MSRP: $50,000. Dealer add-on accessories: $2000. Total Advertised Price: $52,000" and nothing f-ing changes cuz most of the sleazebag dealers already do that!🤣 and for the rare occasions that someone does sue them, they just get a little slap on the wrist from the big bad government 🤣 as usual, the bare minimum effort from Mr. goverment for the most superficial changes, which eventually passes zero benefit to us consumers. all for a damn PR stunt🙄

It’s a good start but we need penalties and we need this nationwide.

Just a heads up the 3 day cooling off period does come with fees when you return them. There is a restocking FEE and mileage fee that can be added

Wait till you see all the dealerships leave California. Everyone will have to go to Arizona to buy a car!

Jonny Boy :
So without a penalty system, the dealerships will only be scared of the people with the money to sue and that’s only if the rich person is vindictive enough or got screwed over enough financially that suing makes sense

Do yourself a favor bud. Only buy from John Pattersons store’s in Orange County. Best man , honest as they come. Most transparent dealer you will find out there .
