I just want to point out being a parent is a choice. I was a SAHM for 16 years and it wasn’t hard, it was boring at times, lonely. In MY experience I didn’t view it as a job…. I was Mom. My kids are all grown now. If you are lucky enough to be a SAHM enjoy all the little moments, it goes by so fast.

This guy is on point. I had the privilege of being a stay at home dad for 3 months with 4 kids 7 and under (it was due to a shortage of work, I have never financially relied on anyone in my life) and it was the best time of my life. My wife at the time chose to get a job to have a break, which really didn’t pay for anything. Regardless, in those 3 months, I taught 2 of my children how to read, taught 2 of them how to ride a bike, the house was surprisingly always clean, laundry was done, we had the best dinners ever, and I taught a hound dog to walk off leash. All well spending everyday with the 4 most amazing people in my life. I would be a stay at home parent any fucking day. Dream job.

Dude... as a parent you never get up when you want 😂. I wanna sleep untill 12 but guess what, at 8 AM my kids are already up and busy figuring out whether they should play for a bit in their room, burn the house down or gouge their eyes out.
