Imagine being born into a life that feels like a prison. Imagine being taught that your entire existence should revolve around a husband and a child — that your worth depends on how well you please them, how quietly you endure, and how much of yourself you are willing to sacrifice. And then, even the child you devoted your life to can be taken away from you. In my country, women have been given so little space to exist as human beings. We are expected to be mothers, wives, and caregivers before we are allowed to be individuals with dreams, choices, voices, and lives of our own. And now, even motherhood itself can be taken from us. How much more are women expected to lose before the world listens? Please hear our voices. Please help us be seen. تخيّل أم حملت طفلها تسعة أشهر، وسهرت عليه، واحتضنته وهو مريض، وكان صوتها أول أمان عرفه بحياته… وبعدين يجي قانون ممكن يحرم هذا الطفل من حضنها، ويُنتقص من حقوقها، وأنت بكل بساطة تكول «أؤيده». شنو اللي يخلي الإنسان يشوف وجع أم وفقدان طفل لأمه مجرد «تفاصيل قانونية»؟ الطفل مو رقم بملف، والأم مو حق ممكن ينشال بسهولة. قبل لا تفرح بأي قانون لأن اسمه مرتبط بمذهبك، اسأل نفسك: إذا هذا القانون مسّأمك أو أختك أو طفلك يومًا، هل راح يبقى بالنسبة إلك مجرد نص قانوني؟ الاختلاف بالمذهب ما يبرر السكوت عن أي حكم ممكن يظلم إنسان. وإذا كان دفاعك عن القانون يحتاج منك تتجاهل دمعة أم وخوف طفل حتى تظل مقتنع إنك صح، فهنا فعلًا لازم توقف وتسأل نفسك: شنو بالضبط دا أدافع عنه؟#كلا #للقانون#الجعفري
