I visited a neighboring country and my phone died, so I asked a few people if I could borrow their phones, but they refused. Eventually, I went somewhere to charge my phone while having something to eat, and that’s when I managed to reach my host. That’s when I realized just how much love and kindness we have in Tanzania. I thought, “If I were back home, someone would have definitely given me their phone, and whoever helped me would have made sure my host came to pick me up and stayed until I was safely on my way before leaving.” That experience really made me appreciate the spirit of kindness and hospitality we have back home. ❤️🇹🇿
