Lol… Banange is a Luganda word that literally means “my people”, “my companions” or, depending on the context, “my colleagues”. For example, mbadde ne banange means, “I have been with my colleagues/my people.” However, over the years, banange has also evolved into a very common exclamatory expression in conversational Luganda.
