Dodge has always had a problem with the radio not going to sleep after turning off the ignition and drains the battery, since its part of Stelantis food for thought try pulling the radio fuse and see what happens

One or two things could be wrong with it: the alternator could be grounding out, causing a drain on the battery, or there is a parasitic draw on the battery, which is very easy for any technician to figure out at the dealership. I would let them know that and see what they say.

You working on the car does not void the warranty, as long as you don’t break anything there’s no reason why you diagnosing the issue will void warranty

2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio had for 3 years & current still own! i’ve had zero issues & yes for the idiots. Electronic, mechanical & whatever etc! Had 1 line that popped but was an easy fix & currently at 120k miles! Don’t buy a Tonale buy a Stelvio or Guilia

It’s obvious the car has a parasitic draw something staying on when the car is off. It’s a shame the dealerships are this lazy and pathetic. If it was out of warranty, I would say tell your dad to send it to me.

It’s either a bad ground but there’s a technical service bulletin from Alfa Romero about a continuous battery drain. It says the auxiliary coolant pump can fail to stop causing a high ignition-off current draw.

We had the same issue with our Range Rover. They said we r not driving it enough because my wife’s commute is only a mile and a half. After many trips to dealer they put a new battery and it’s been fine. But the whole “we don’t drive it enough” sounded like bs!
